I like hearing things like that. There are still good people out there!
I volunteer - but I can't call that selfless because I have too much fun :P
I used to live across the road from some old people and we'd take them cups of tea and blankets if there was a power cut. And a couple of times we had one of two of them round for Christmas dinner so they wouldn't be on their own.
But that was my mums selflessness not my own!

Made me smile. As has all the community clearing up the next day. That's the kin of stuff that gives me hope.
Something selfless I've done: I donated bone marrow. Last year. I'm on the register and they called up and said I'm a match for someone who needed a transplant.
