I don't know what's been going on, exactly.

Most recently, I left an abusive relationship. Not just a relationship, a marriage. That was in March, which since then I've moved four times. I'm currently staying with my "boyfriend" that is severely bipolar, just like me. He threatens to kick me out at least twice a week, and unfortunately, I have nowhere to go anymore. (Hence why I'm dealing with this.) With all of this that is going on, I find myself praying every night that I'd die in my sleep. I've been so depressed and down, but I couldn't ever do anything to hurt myself again.. I just feel like I have nothing left to do in the world.. I feel like no one has time or room for me in their lives, which in turn makes me feel like nothing. I'm always stressed, depressed, and looking for attention. I don't know how to get out of this rut. I can't get medical attention because I can't find a job with benefits. I don't have access to medicaid or any kind of state funding stuff.

From you post, it sounds like you are in America and I am afraid I do not know the system there well enough to be able to help on that front.

What I do advise though is that you get out of your relationship with your boyfriend, as it is clearly not stable or healthy for you right now. There are women's shelters and places you can go as a temporary measure while you find something more stable.

Right now, the most important thing is you and your health and safety. I know that is incredibly hard to take on board, but the more stability you are able to find and secure around you, the easier things like dealing with your own mood and wellbeing will become.

Be gentle with yourself.

I don't know the system in the US either, i'm so sorry. Have you got shelters/hostels or places of safety you can go to out there like we have here?

I agree, you need to get out of that relationship

I agree with the above two...this relationship does not sound healthy for either of you.

Not sure about the American system either... :S.....but surely there is a way for people in your situation to get some form of professional help?

Is there no way you can stay with friends or family? I'm aware that the mental health system in America can be pretty crap, if you have insurance it hardly covers anything anyway.

I really hope you're okay, and don't put up with him for any longer.

Have you applied for medicaid? If not, I would highly suggest it, I used to be on it and they're really great if you qualify. You can always call and talk to somebody about your situation, they might be able to advise you on what to do and let you know if you qualify.

If not, do you have any health centers near you? Health centers are for lower income people/people who have no insurance and they're usually very helpful. They can treat you at a much lower price than other places, usually based a sliding scale fee. And, also, sometimes they can help you get medications for free or at a very low cost, I know they were helping my mom out with hers for awhile.
