OD q
If I tell my care co-ordinator I took an OD just under a week after I've taken it can she still make me get checked out at hospital if I haven't been already? I want to be honest with her but just wondering what she can do... thanks!

Oh, I'm not so sure.
She might to make sure you're okay.
But they may not find anything after a week.
Depending on how much and what you took (PLEASE don't tell us).
Be honest, something may be still in your system and could be causing damage.
I hope you're okay.
PM me anytime.

thank you, Lily, for saving mummy's life*. You are my one and only, you can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight, and you'll be alright.

Yes, not going to go into any details, but sure nothing would be in my system but wondered if maybe she'd want my heart checked out or something like that. As long as she can't make me go, I will tell her x

I told my CPN a couple of weeks ago, that I had ODed (I ODed when she was on holiday!), and because it was more than a week, she said she really couldnt do anything.
If it had been a week or less, then my CPN would have probably marched me down to the hospital, either (depending on how long it had been I had taken anything, and how much) for treatment, or just for blood tests to make sure that I had no long term damage.

Oh and I would be honest with your care co-ordinator, even if it means that you end up having blood tests. If my CPN hadnt been on holiday, I would have told mine sooner, even if I did end up in A&E.

i think it is unlikely she would make you though obviously we cant guarantee it.i do think it would be better to be honest with her though if you can.Or you could even ask her similar to what you asked us like kind of give her a little bit of a hypothetical situation first or something?Do try and tell her though cos if they dont know how bad things are they really cant help.
Good luck and do let us know how it goes.

I ended up going to hospital in the end and it was probably good because they kept me in. The crisis team also looked after me over the weekend and I'm seeing my care co-ordinator tomorrow so it's probably all for the best. I think she would have been annoyed if I hadn't gone to the hospital. Thanks for your help x

I am glad that you managed to get some help and that your meeting with your care co-ordinator goes ok!
