Hey everyone, hope you're doing okay.
I have the second half of my assessment tomorrow with the CMHT. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the possible outcome if I told them that I'm extremely suicidal and have made plans? I've written them a letter about all the things I'm finding difficult to cope with because I am absolutely rubbish at speaking in person, and feel like I really need to get it across. Thanks for your help.

Hmm depending on the level of risk they think you are. They might refer you to the crisis team, home treatment team, or hospital if it comes to the very worst then sectioned however they dont section people lightly.

They should listen to you and take you seriously. Try be as honest as possible. Have you ever tried to harm yourself and/or commit suicide before?

It's unlikely that they would admit you to hospital without trying to help you as an outpatient first and they would only section you if they felt you needed treatment that you were refusing, so try not to worry about that.
