Ok, I, like so many of you, am off to Uni soon. I'm going on Sat, and if my dad gets his way, that means leaving at 8:30am.
I haven't started packing yet. My room is a tip and half of my clothes need washing/ironing. OH, I also have no idea where half my paperwork is.
So, I thought I'd come up and get on with everything...only I can't be bothered. Anyone else in the same boat? Any ideas on how to get me off my incredibly fat, lazy ass?
Oh, I've also just realized that I have no idea where my Mp3 player is and desperately need to transfer the songs to my laptop before I die from too much of the same music. =[
"When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around.”
I'm in the same place, just in my second year of uni.
I have no suggestions, because yesterday,I decided to do some packing after work, and I went to the cinema and the pub,and today instead of doing it I walked along the beach for 3 hours listening to music.
=D
"Watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
1. Going to town, shopping a bit, having lunch.
2. Taking my duvet to be cleaned.
3. Watching TV
4. Going round a mates to get my hair dyed and I ended up staying for tea.
Just blitz it! Then arrange to meet a friend OR find a friend who is equally disorganised and spend one day at your house packing and vice versa making it a rule that until your room is done you cant leave and do anything fun.
When we lose twenty pounds... we may be losing the twenty best pounds we have! We may be losing the pounds that contain our genius, our humanity, our love and honesty. ~Woody Allen

you will be fine, or you could just pack saturday morning.
" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.

Aye. Work for a little bit, do a little bit of cleaning/tidying, then give yourself a break. Find something to motivate you towards - aren't you excited about going to uni? Getting it done and out of the way will mean that you've got more time to play and have fun later in the week. Also, try to make a list of all of the things that you have to do - I don't know whether it's just me, but that feeling satisfaction of crossing another thing off the list can't be rivaled!
And just think - A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down!

so, some of it is going in my mums case because she's going to italy a few days after i've gone back.
if i forget my contract and stuff- i am fecked!
Location: Spain... but would rather be in England at home :)
I am currently:
Ok... my sillyness just says buy it all again when you get ther./... put that is just a ridiculous idea. What I would say is get on with it (not ment to sound harsh) but then when you get to uni you will have everything you need and then you can have more time getting to know people and enjoying the first few weeks rather than being annoyed that you can't find something or you have forgotten something because you left it all until last minute. Having said that... i had my first year at uni last year and i left home on the sunday but didn't really pack until the friday. so i would say there i time.
I hope you enjoy uni and that it all goes well for you.
