I have wine in the fridge... don't know if it will help or hinder...

Moving from a smaller house to a bigger house with some friends :) So far, we have decided the boxes are better off made into interesting dinosaur costumes rather than packing. There's boxes and bags being flung down the stairs! God knows how we're going to shift all this stuff in 1 small car!

I will pack for you. I will make a list of everything you need to take, then get everything out, checking it as I go, then put everything in the suitcase/boxes/whatever and check them again. Then keep the list for unpacking. :D Using different coloured pens as I go.

I'm moving from Milan back to my parents house in Salisbury (initially). Having to reduce all my worldly possessions down to one 23kg suitcase = total pain in the ass.

4 hours til I have to go... hopefully I'll get everything done but I'm supposed to go into the office as well which might not happen.

Also, I'm already getting nervous about the plane - I hate flying.

Salisbury is such a lovely pretty place I think. I quite enjoy getting a train up there and spending the day idly mooching around.


Remember, always sit at the back of a plane. You never hear about them reversing into mountains.

I read that just before leaving for the airport and I'm REALLY afraid of flying so I spent the whole trip to the airport hyperventilating and trying to remember all the calming stuff my counsellor told me - because Milan just happens to be right next to a whole heap o mountains!!!

And then the flight was fine (apart from being delayed) so I guess I'll forgive you, although I think you owe me a whole barrel of mead for taking several years off my life.
