Brain problems.

Well basically my neurologist has urgently reffered me for an MRI scan.

Just a couple of problems:

1) My CPN said she would come with me I just need to give her the date and shell take me, but its at 6pm!! She wont take me then will she considering her job is 9-5.

2) People have been after my brain! They want the information that I hold in there, because I know to much infromation about things going on around, things thata you are not aware of. And now they have realiswed which is why they are making me have an MRI scan - they are going to put me in that machine and erase my memory.

I dont know what to do. I know I am going to break down when I get there, like completly because I know what they are really going to do to me. They keep saying they need to have a look at my brain because I have a problem with my eyes and feet which they think its caused by my brain, but seriously do they think I am stupid. NO I AM NOT. They are going to put me in that machine and I am going to scream and cry and lose control.

I dont know what to do

They might give you some meds so you're move relaxed for the scan. They do just want to help you though :) Speak to your CPN, maybe they wouldn't mind that it's outside work hours.

Why don't you speak with your CPN and if she can't come maybe you could try and rearrange the scan.

As to the brain paranoia etc. I don't really have the answer but you need to try and think about this logically. Do you trust your Drs? If you do then could you talk about this to them?

1) I think that because your CPN said she would attend with you then she may make an exception and just arrange to be paid overtime for the extra hours.

however,

2) Your neurologist needs to be aware of this paranoia. They can always arrange for the scan to happen at a time when you are more mentally stable.

Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do you want?

I had an MRI scan myself once and it was fine - it honestly doesn't affect your mind at all.

All an MRI scan machine can do is take a picture of the physical structure of your brain. It can't read your thoughts. It certainly can't change them or remove information.

It's more like having an X-ray done. If someone breaks their leg and gets an X-ray it's just a picture - the machine can't make any changes to the actual bones!

The only unpleasant aspect of an MRI scan is that it is slightly claustrophobic inside the machine, but there is a button to press if you want to come out at any point.

It sounds like you really need your CPN to support you. I'm sure she can set it up to be there, either by changing her hours on that day, or by re-arranging the scan appointment.

Good luck and let us know how it goes. xx

I am seeing my cpn on Tuesday so Im going to have a chat with her.

Im just so scared because I know what they are going to do to me. They want my brain to get the thoughts that I am not allowed to know, because of the government out of it. They want to erase all the information I hold. They are out to get me seriously they are tying to attack my brain.

Can they sedate you?

Sammi like the others i guess that they may be able to sedate you though obviously im not certain.

You will be really brave going for this scan.Really proud of you and hope it helps and that you find a way for your CPN to be able to come too.i know its really important to you that you have her there with you and im sure she will understand that.

Please talk to her today and good luck. Please also tell her the things you think people are trying to do as she needs to know this.

xx xx

i do not always manage to be around but i wish you all the very best - love and luck to you all!
