There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
Way too long, especially right now, summer therapy break. [5 weeks, all of August plus a few days.]
My flatmate was being dishonest about something, not sure if she still is. I hope not.
I don't know what the heck is happening re my job, or when I'll know what the heck is happening.
“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”
I think a lot of people would care. I guess my questions would be: 'do you care and what are you trying in order to take care of yourself?' and also why do other people's opinions mean so much to you?
we are the fallen
we are the wounded
we are the shattered
we are the unheard
we are the brave
we are the strong we are Survivors. and..... we are the future
we fallen can still rise by the wings of hope that lifts us~
I think you give a lot of positive support on this website. I do not know you, nor have I talked to you personally, but I know I would care. It doesn't matter who it is, there is always a hole left behind. Always a moment that could've been that would be missed. Always a time that should've been, that wouldn't. Always someone who maybe will have needed you down the road, that loses the opportunity to feel your love. There is always a hole left. No matter who it is. stay safe, xo

Move away. Leave your job, get a new one.
I know it's hard to do these things physically, practically and emotionally. I know you feel things keenly. But you need to snap out of this mental state and find some better coping mechanisms.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break
that its heart may stand in the sun,
so must you know pain.
There are only two ways in which one can live their life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is.

effervescence, it's not so simple. Though I do hear you. But believe me, running away from the situations isn't the answer. And I know that.
I do have an attachment disorder which can indeed make my reactions to already stressful situations more extreme. I'm working to change that. But when all my buttons are pushed, well, it's a testing time.
I am safer today. Somewhat calmer. Though this morning was very wobbly.
These feelings of worthlessness go very deep. As I gain more self worth, it pushes on those deeper layers of worthlessness....
