Does anybody recieve Direct Payments?
What kind of mental illness qualifies you?

Direct Payments basically cover the money given to you by Social Services for you to use as you see fit (within reason) to support yourself in regards to your illness/issues/problems. Different Local Authorities provide them for different things so I can't say what would necessarily qualify for them, but I've been involved in providing Direct Payments so if there's anything you want to know, let me know xxx

Your local authority should have provided you with a guide, which should state what the payments cover.

If in doubt, there is no harm in asking them or at your local CAB.
