External links?
Are we allowed to post links to research articles and things of that nature for discussion on the various boards? I looked in the RYL Guide, but haven't seen it. If I overlooked it, could someone please link me to the appropriate rules?
Specifically, my therapist pointed me to an amazing research article online, and I wanted to pass it along on the A&B board. Thanks.

External links are generally okay however the mods will remove links to any pro sites or sites that may contain information that goes against the rules. Or are seen to be spamming.
We have removed links which whilst they initially seem to be fine may contain adverts or links to sites that are against the rules although these adverts/links are generally pretty obvious.

I thought that was probably the way things were, but I haven't even been here six months yet. It's too early for black marks on my record. ;)
It's just a research article in PDF format. It's directly relevant to the "Survivors of Female Abusers" thread, as well as the general social plight of male abuse survivors (like yours truly). It might be triggering, but it's definitely not pro. The research is empirical.
Really appreciate the reply!

Sounds like it would be fine, just remember to give people a heads up before the link.

If you don't post it (or possibly even if you do because I am uber lazy and this would eliminate me having to go and find it on the forums...) would you mind sending the link to me in a message? It sounds very interesting and is related to some of the stuff I'm studying for my university degree.
