Shipping?

I ordered a bracelet on here at the beginning of April and it still hasn't come. I do live in the US, but how long is it supposed to take?

Since the bomb scare involving the ink cartridges, the UK's postal service (called Royal Mail) have had no option but to send most things via surface mail (also known as sea mail). That is the only way that the USA will allow anything from another country to arrive via it's postal system. That does not apply to just anything sent from the UK but from other countries (Australia, New Zealand etc).

Surface mail usually takes 6-8 weeks, though 12 weeks is not unusual. I would not be worried yet, as it could simply be in the postal system. If in a couple of weeks time you have not had it, then I would email/post here asking about it's whereabouts as it could have gotten lost. Personally I would give until the end of the month until you get worried.

Unfortunately until the USA government's restrictions are lifted, there is nothing that can be done to ensure speedy delivery (unless you use a private courier which is horrendously expensive - and out of most people's reach).

It hasnt been well publicised here either, so many people in the UK arent aware of it either.

I only knew because I collect books and follow a bookseller's blog. She started getting a load of complaints from people in the USA wondering where their books were, and did some digging of her own, and that turned out to be the reason why. If she hadnt published about it on her blog, I would be as clueless as you are.
