Rants vs. Journals
Hey,
I have never posted in the rant section of RYL. Usually if I don't want replies to a rant of mine I post it in my journal.
But, I mean, they basically seem to be the same thing to me.
How does one decide whether to place a post in their journal or to post it in the rant section? Can one place an identical post in both their journal and the rant section?
Just a little confused.

You can't do that with r/v. r/v is more public than your journal.
I suspected that. Just thought there may have been a criteria to determine if a post belongs in journals or in the rant section or if it is acceptable for both.

^thats still flaming if its about someone on ryl. Any rulebreaking will be edited from journals, even private ones.

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

Yes they can but one is public to members and the other can be seen by you only if you don't have people on your buddy list.
