I am currently:
Woodbourne Priory hospital.

Has anyone ever been inpatient here or had outpatient appointments/assessments? For any conditions, really, I'm going to be getting a second opinion and hopefully treatment here.

This the one in Birmingham?

It's really, really nice there, yeah. I was outpatient there for... 18 months? Under the care of Dr England, who was great, a bit strict, but I think that's what I needed.
I did stay there IP for... three nights? For an assessment and to draw up a care plan. They were nice there :)

Anything else I can answer, just PM me :)

Hi.

I had a terrible experience at the Woodbourne hospital Birmingham. I was “looked” after by Dr Nass. He is totally impatient & never had any time for me or my family. I am now better but I would say I just got better on my own rather than any help the hospital gave. Since I got better I met I others who also received terrible service at the Woodbourne. I have also meet people who received excellent treatment on the NHS & seem to get better a lot faster than me.
To be honest I think Dr Nass is only interested in getting as much money as possible from Bupa. I am sure a NHS doctor would be more interested in getting each patient better without thinking about how much money they will be getting.

OMG i was an inpatient there back in 2009. I wouldn't say its the best mental health hospital in the world there is so much they could improve on especially the nurses and they didn't get me better at all just kept me safe from the dark time i was going through and i met some amazing people there who i still keep in contact with to this day. I was under the care of Dr Jasper. Parkview clinic in Birmingham i would recommend so much, they changed my life for the better and again met some amazing people there but you have to be up to 16 to stay there, boooooo!

I was IP on the EDU downstairs there for nearly a year and I can't fault them. I was under Dr Villa, only really know what goes on in the adult services but if you want to chat my inbox is always open.

Has anyone ever been under the clinical youth support team in Birmingham?
