Jefferson.Meriwether: my mom used to plant a lot of veggies in our garden, but she has 2 jobs now and no time to take care of the veggies. I love homegrown fruit and veggies, once I moved out I'll plant my own veggies.

I'm feeling a bit meep. It's a nice and sunny day and I have to go work at a factory soon and sit inside without sun. And we don't even have windows that we could open :(

You'll be top of my list of people to receive any excess veg :) I don't know if I could go completely veggy but I wouldn't mind if I only ate meat one or two days a week. Last year I did briefly try following a Vegan diet. I lasted about 2/3 days then started craving a Guinness lol

That doesn't sound too nice Laura. I hate being stuck inside at work when it's nice & sunny; I'm more an outdoors person myself.

Guinness (Along with a lot of other alcoholic drinks.) is treated with Isinglass finnings; they use bits of fishes air bladders to improve clarity or adjust flavour/aroma. Whereas the product itself is (As far as I am aware.) vegan the production method isn't vegan if that makes sense.

When it comes to wines I'm more of a Cold Mulled wine person myself. I know it's supposed to be served warm but I much prefer it cold.

The only down side to red wine is (At least for me.) it can create more of a hangover than white wine.

I find lager to be the worse for headaches; plus it tastes positively disgusting. Guinness and ales are my preference. Mather's Black beer makes for a wonderful drink every now & again.

I used to drink lager all the time but can't anymore. And in my younger days, newcastle brown was all we would have.

Guiness is okay if you like burnt toast. But as far as I could tell it's a total myth that 'it tastes better in Ireland.'

Wine = awesome unless it's really cheap shitty stuff. I knew it was time to leave the country when I voluntarily bought and drank Lambrini once :)

Now cider... <puts stem of hay between teeth and leans on fencepost>... I miss that stuff.

So did you guys do anything fun with your day (apart from this, obviously)?
