Interview tomorrow :D

Hey guys so I've an interview for nursing tomorrow eeek :P
I'm nervous but im still quite excited about it as I am trying to stay quite confident as I work as a care assistant in a nursing home, have personal experience with having an ill father and stuff too and hey ive a full time job at the minute and if i dont get in I can apply next year. Though I'm just worried if they will ask about my mental health as I filled in the occupational health forms and was truthful and my doc also wrote a letter telling them about my past medical history including self harm and overdoses (not too happy about the ods being mentioned though i wasnt meant to see the letter so I can hardly say anything to him can I, and its sent anyway) but anyways.

I'm just looking some reassurance really that it will be okay thats all.

Hey, first of all well done for as getting as far as the interview stage.

You have plenty of previous experience from both working in the nursing home and caring for your father so that is not going to hold you back. Be truthful if they bring up your past medical history, but try not to get defensive.

thanks everyone it went okay stumbled a bit on 1 of the questions but hey i tried my best have to wait til may to find out if i get in or not. they never asked anything to do with my mental health which was good too.

queens in belfast thanks i cant wait til i hear back just to see how it went. but i dont mind if i dont get in this year either as ive still got my full time care assistant job which i love and it would give me another years experience also :D

Don't the occ health forms go to a specific dept not the interview panel? That's generally what happens with jobs. Anyway, glad it went well, and also that you have fall-back position - well done!
