I have been dealing with a lot of crap lately. someone really close to my family shot and killed himself. he was 15 years old. then 5 days later, my boyfriend of a year breaks up with me. I still love him. The next day was the 15 year olds funeral, open casket. then today i find out that my ex boyfriend who is sitting here telling me he still loves me and we need to hang out and work things out, slept with someone else. i dont know what to do, what to think, or how to feel. i just know im numb, i feel sick, and im really in a bad place right now...

im so sorry about your friend. do you have anyone that you can talk to and lean on to help you through this? even if they are grieving themselves, sharing what you're feeling can help. locking it up and trying to stay strong or something like that can leave you feeling really alone and stressed and overwhelmed.

maybe it would help if you took a bit of time away from your ex-boyfriend, to figure out how you feel and what you want to do. especially with the stress and pain of your friend, it is completely reasonable to need some space to think and process everything.
