I can relate to an extent... I recently got into my first relationship. I didn't want to end up freaking my bf out, so I briefly told him that I have SI issues. It's awkward to talk about, so we don't really say much about it. SI isn't something many people understand, which makes it difficult.
It dounds really good that he wants to support you though :) Maybe taking small steps talking to him at first would help. Like- just talking about it a little bit to get more comfortable. I'm not sure since every relationship is probably different. Some people may be more open to the subject than others.
I hope you're doing alright with everything :) You can always send a PM if you want to talk
*hugs and love*

your person sounds very nice and i completly agree that the best thing you can do is take it one day at a time. Its really good that you understand where your feelings are coming from. The best way to keep your relationship good is to just keep talking you dont always have to know what to say. srry if it sounds like blathering.

how long have you been engaged?..... i'm a bit confused how it can be a new relationship, but you're already going to get married.........
while you can continue working on trying to talk with him, maybe you could also find some support from someone else who is more immediately helpful. do you have any family or friends that you really trust who might be better able to help?

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.
The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.
