I'm sorry I don't have much advice...
I'd just like to say I can relate A LOT. I do the exact same thing. Wanting to do things so so bad, yet not doing them or even attempting to change. You did the right thing by asking to see a psychologist, I too was on a waiting list for a very long time.
For now, what I try to do is just try to think positively... remind yourself and do things you like, that no side of you objects to. A hobby, maybe? Writing? Drawing? Reading? Some kind of sport? If you can't even find the motivation to do something like that (Again, Don't worry, I can relate.) Remind yourself that afterwards you wont feel that way. Try to convince and push yourself to do something fun, and you'll feel good about it afterwards. Arrange something fun with your friends, maybe. (If you feel like you want to cancel, then they'll probably encourage you not to. :) If you manage to do this once, then remind yourself how much it helped the next time. :)
