last night i had a dream with SI in it. I've had dreams with SI before but the SI is always involving me.

This time, i was at work and my co-worker was the one SI-ing. I suggested she not do what she was doing and even though she didnt listen I went and got her paper towels...it was pretty graphic, i was surprised. I have absolutely no worries about this co-worker in real life; I'm positive she does not SI.
anyway, the whole point of this was that I havent SI-ed in a long time and now this dream just totally fu*ked me up :( and i just want a hug

I completely understand how scary and unsettling that is.... I had a dream that I walked in on a family member doing this...it was pretty graphic as well....what helped me to relax was listning to music...sorry if this was pointless.

Eating certain foods before going to sleep will often give people nightmares.

That is a very interesting dream in that you were not doing it yourself but were trying to help the one involved in the SI. That is a really encouraging sign IMO.

You can influence your dreamlife somewhat by telling yourself what to dream about just before you drift off to sleep. If I want to have a pleasant dream about a certain person, I suggest that to my brain and it works for me like about 25% of the time. :)
