Fed up with pain

I'm so done being in pain....It's taking a huge toll on me. Right now I have my head, migraines everyday since last week. I have my knee which I fell on on the 1st,had to go to the ER by ambulance cuz when they asked me to move it I screamed involuntarily so I'm seeing an orthopedist Thursday. It hurts when I straighten it, walk, go up and down stairs, kneel and just about everything else. I have my hand which has tendinitis, and my stomach which I may have a gastrointestinal infection. I'm just so fed up the only thing I can take is Tylenol which doesn't work that well. I just want it to stop

Have you spoken to your doctor to see if you can be prescribed anything stronger to help the pain and perhaps get the treatment you need sooner.

I haven't actually straight out asked for something stronger but when they asked how much pain I was in I said about an 8 out of 10. I thought that would have told them how much pain I'm in but I guess not.... I'm almost afraid to ask because I don't want to seem like I'm seeking drugs

Can you get over-the-counter-co-codamol in the states, or is it script only? Tell them how bad it is- you know you aren't drug seeking and they will have seen drug seekers before. Plus there are painkillers that are strong but not morphine-based, that they could give you if they are worried about it.

Thanks....I'n not sure if there is even codamol in the USA let along over-the-counter..... Thanks though. Unfortunately I am pretty sure the only over-the-counter thing I can take is Tylenol which isn't doing anything.. I fell again today on snow and this time my leg/knee went out to the side..... I sat on the ground for a moment in pain and anger before I got up. It really hurt and still does... I see and orthopedist Thursday (the best in at least NY, he created his own prosthetic for womens knees) so I'm going to talk to him about the pain.. I bought a brace for it that will stay on... Mom found a site where I could go through my symptoms and see what it most likely is and I got "Your symptoms may be from TORN CARTILAGE, a TORN LIGAMENT or CHONDROMALACIA PATELLAE, the softening of the ligament or cartilage underneath the kneecap." We shall see

I'm doing ok...Still in a lot of pain with my knee. I am going for an MRI on Wed. and start physical therapy Tues. My headaches are starting to go away. So thats a good thing...Unfortunately I now have 2 other stressors....One is My blood sugar is high when I fasted and they tested it, aka I am prediabetic. The other thing is I have TMJ which causes pain in the jaw but thats rare but it also effects the ears and now I feel like they are both infected when they are not.....
