i know im not coping as well as i make out

im trying to cover it all up with a poker face
when really i just feel like curling into a ball and crying my eyes out
truth is most of the time i dont want to be anywhere... ive had the thoughts of suicde before but i know i couldnt go through with it
ive tried leaving the house and not going to college but someone always finds me
i hate college if my best mate isnt there .. he makes things seem alot better but he has his days off which is fair enough , the people in my class dont talk to me apart from one person
ive told to get a "little job" but because im isolating myself its like er no i want a job so i have money not to socialise with people who dont understand me
i cant wear vest tops anymore im that ashamed of my dermotillomania and the fact ive slashed them open >_<
i dont know what to do anymore :(

I'm not sure if there's very many helpful things I can say, but, I really hope you're alright! I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a rough time :/ It will get better though, and you'll make it through :) You can always send a PM if you need to talk

*more hugs and love*

We are male and female. We are artists, athletes, and students. We have depression, PTSD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, or maybe no diagnosis at all. Some of us were abused, some not. We come from all walks of life and can be any age. We are every race or religion that you can think of. Our common link is this: We are in pain. We self-injure. And we are not freaks.

You have to try to get out. Some(okay, most) days I get so tired and empty and I don't want to leave the house for school. But I have to, because I know that if I go, there's a better chance of me telling someone, and a better chance that I might feel better, 'cuz for sure, if I stay in the house, I'd just mope all day and get worse.

Do you have someone to talk to? I'll listen, if you need someone.

i know that isolating is really really persuasive. but it is so so so important to fight it. while it feels better at the time, it cuts you off from everyone. people are social animals. we need interaction. we can't be off on our own all the time. getting out and involved in something else can distract you for a while, and let you build relationships. and the only way that people who don't understand you will ever learn to is if you talk to them and do things with them. and the only way to meet people who do understand you easily is to get out, you can't meet them just by staying on your own. and anyways, sometimes you can learn alot from people who think differently than you.

maybe you and your best mate could do something together but with other people. so that you have him there for support and to help you relax, but you can get to talking with other people. and at first it might be easier to do something that has some structure to it......

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

PM me anytime, I love getting messages :)
