talks/questions/help (may trigger)

So, anyway I'm hopefully spending time with a person that means a lot to me. She was my mentor and I could talk to her about anything. I haven't really seen her in awhile and we haven't really talked in awhile either. My problem is, I'm nervous to spend time with her and actually talk to her about life. I have been doing well in my life but sometimes think bad things. Anyway, how do I talk to her?

i think its best to be honest, but you can try what i calll layers of honesty, only open the doors to certain things when you feel comfortable talking about them.
how you talk to her is up to you, maybe start by asking about her?
If she helped you so much in the past then i'm sure after a while you'll be comfortable with her again.

best wishes,

everyone thinks "bad things" sometimes.... its impossible to have only good thoughts

i'd try and just relax. hopefully when you see her you'll just fall back into being comfortable. dont worry yourself about it beforehand because worrying about it will just make you feel worse, and maybe make it harder to feel comfortable when you actually see her, cause you'll still be left over with all the anxiety from before

I don't know if there's very much advice I can give, since that's something I'm trying to figure out as well. I agree with long road about being honest and the layers of honesty, and opening up when you're comfortable with it. *hugs* I hope you're doing alright! Feel free to send a message if you need to talk :)

*more hugs*
