assistance for the newcomer

hello everybody, em, i;m at a little bit of a loss on two points.
First, i'd like to say i;m happily cut free for i;d say a year or six months and i;m kinda wondering should i not be on this site. But, i was curious would the other forms of SH make me feel at home here (support wise).
Also, my therapist gave me the idea of documenting progress i;ve been making on getting clean and...this is hard to say without sounding vain but would they be adaquate additions to the substance abuse forum. They are written for me but...the slogan here is you are not alone and maybe my progress can help others progress and maybe comments on new entries of hints, tips, and even just someone saying "You're doing great" or "What are you playing at" would help me too.
