ok- i give up
i can't do this anymore. i hate myself so much. why can't this pain all go away?! all i'm going to do is disappoint myself, so what's the use in trying anymore? i have no hope now. i feel that i've let a friend of mine down to a point where he's going to kill himself (as i posted on another thread). i'm such a horrible and filthy person, and i can't stand it much longer.
i dont know exactly what i'm expecting by posting, but, any advice or encouragement is completely welcome

its really important to remember that as painful as it is, and as responsible you may feel, what your friend does is his choice. you did the best you could to be there for him, and if he still chooses to hurt himself, there really isn't much that you can do about it (other than tell someone who can be there to take care of him, if you know his parents or something).......
*giant hugs* i know that this situation is really really difficult and emotional to be in.
