Chances are, if people are being kicked off on a regular basis it is because of their internet connection (as you have found yourself), rather than a fault with chat.
It sucks, but there's very little that anybody can do about it.

There are three threads on the first page about this issue - particularly the one a couple under this " chat just wont work" where Harley has discussed the chat issue. I direct you there for any further comments you want to make about chat not working; I am closing this as we don't need another chat thread.
