I am always addicted to something benzo's for years are prescribed to me now I mix them with pain killers and my sleeping pills and wow I have a new addiction. Compared to what I used to do it isn't much, but it would be nice to just be clean not messing around with meds all the time to get through a day.

The addictions are not the problem but a symptom imo. You have unresolved things inside yourself that end up creating a little emptiness and hurty bits. Addictions are like water on a burn. They work for a while but then they cause pain too. People then need to drink etc to take away the pain caused by drinking. All false cures outside yourself will become addictive is used to evade the pain of issues that need to be resolved. Being better and feeling better are different things. Be careful about overreacting and resenting things. Negative emotions will keep you empty inside even if they seem justified.

Addictions can be cured through therapeutic treatment programs. Whatever it is that you are addicted into, you can always stop it. A little discipline and motivation, addictions will end in a short period of time.
