I've had a rather rough week with emotions going up and down... husband issues (too much drinking & not giving a rats ass about how i feel kind of thing), an SI episode and a few close calls, all coupled with the normal stresses of the holiday season. At any rate it's easy to get down and such and I let myself fall into the lonely, feeling like crap black whole which is pretty typical for me around the holidays (too many bad memories from when I was a kid).
As I watched the news tonight and saw all those families so much worse off than my own and how ppl reached out to give them a helping hand it literally made me cry to see that there are still ppl out there who care enough to help. I cried too when I went to the Salvation Army to pick up the gifts that a family generously got for our family (we are very low income and were adopted by a very generous family). It's touched me in a way I can't explain...
I'm really tired at present, but have a lot on my mind, thus the "thoughtful" heading. I'm just trying to type this all out in hopes of emptying my head enough to sleep.
I guess my number 1 Christmas wish is that everyone out there has someone... someone who cares about them, someone to sit with them through the hard times and to hold their hand when they need it. I just don't want anyone to have to feel alone, unwanted, and especially unloved! It's just not right ... and I'm not just talking about Christmas time... I mean it's not right any time!
I think I'm just rambling now... any who... that's what's on my mind an hour b4 Christmas...
