Help...I'm melting

Help I'm melting....my strong exterier is slowly slipping away and I cannot cope.

Cannot motivate myself to do anything and shadow is coming back more and more, but cannot take meds and WONT take meds.

Want help from ppl but scared they will put me on meds.

If i dont get help soon tho - there will be nothing left of me. I have worked so hard to get better and now it is slipping out of my hands.

getting help doesn't necessarily mean meds. and in the end, if you say no, there isn't much that anyone can do about it.

try and get to see a councelor or other professional....

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

PM me anytime, I love getting messages :)

what support do you have in your life right now, is there anyone (professional or not) who you could bring this up with? like Katie says, there's alternatives to meds in a lot of cases, but maybe it would help to think about why you don't want to take any medication. i can sympathise with how it feels when things start to slip, and i know how important it is to ask for help at that stage, so well done for posting here.

well, there's individual therapy (CBT, DBT, psychotherapy and others too i'm sure) and group therapy (things like talking ones, but also sometimes art and music type ones as well). then there's things like exercise, a new way of eating, looking at your sleeping pattern if that's a problem. some self-help books can be good for that. it might be that with the best will in the world meds might work the best. why do you feel you can't take them? bets of luck seeing your support worker today, i hoep you're able to talk and they're helpful.
