I'm assuming you mean Avoidant PD?
Probably best to mention these reactions to whomever dx'ed you? They would likely have the best info and *should* be able to help with coping strat.'s for these issues.
Good luck

Well I was never actually diagnosed I spoke to a therapist a while ago about the violent thought and was on mess for a while but they didn't help and I moved away before any conclusion was as brought up but didn't say anything about the lack of self worth and confidence and the reluctance to be in social situations for fear of embarisment or rejection as I just thought it was me being shy. Then I read about avoidant PD and thought that might be me.

Honestly?
The very worst thing you can do is self-diagnose.
Not sure your age or current situation, but the symptoms could be down to that and not an 'illness'.
I do understand that having a name or label for how you feel can seem helpful, even reassuring, but self-dx'ing is so dangerous.
It is so very easy to start fitting yourself into the criteria for an illness.
Having a label brings its own set of troubles, which are very difficult to counter.
See your GP, explain how you feel and go from there.

I'm worried that if I get officially diagnosed with something then I won't be able to work in certain countries and it could limit the jobs available to me. 19 M.

If you are worried about your mental state, you go to a doctor. Diagnosing is hard, it's not just looking at a website, thinking this could be me. I am diagnosed with avoidant personality disorder, when finding out your diagnosis, you get page after page with questions you have to answer. The truth is, when it comes to personality disorders, everyone has some of the symptoms. Even healthy people. For it to be a proper disorder, you need to have several of the symptoms, it has to have been going on for long periods of your life, they need to find out if these things can have been caused by something else, and it has to have a negative impact on your life.

If you are afraid you may be ill, go to your doctor. Let them do the work they are qualified to do. Don't diagnose yourself.
