only one thing will make me feel better, help!

Im anxious jumpy jittery nervous all for unknown reasons. I feel like I will explode and like I need to let it all out by cutting.......

I don't know if I can control myself and not do it, but I have DBT group in just one hour.

I need to hear from you guys, my friends in RL will just give me all sorts of things I should be doing and why cutting is bad. they dont get it. im shaking from random anxiety and negative energy.

can you try breathing really slowly? or do mindfullness from dbt (should make everyone happy there)

its really hard to resist the urges when they're that bad, but part of what i've had to learn is that my body can't sustain that jitteryness forever, and if you wait, it has to come down on its own




this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

Is there anything you can do to take your mind off things? Look at The Big Distraction List, and see if there is anything on there you can do to take your mind off things. Becase like the above poster said - this jitteryness can't last for ever and it will come down on it's own.
