cpn weather to continue seeing him

I am seeing my CPN tomorrow , to discus weather i want to continue to see him.
I don't want to be rude to him and say that i don't want to continue , but i don't wish to continue because i feel that i can continue on my own to self talk my way out of situations that are at times hard for me to deal with.

he has been a great help with things and i appreciate all that he has done for me , but its time to move on

He will understand and be delighted at this as it means you are moving on with life and getting better and that means he has done his job and so on!

Maybe you could write him a little card as a thank you so if it is your final session then you can give it to him so he knows how much you have appreciated his help.
