Reading festival Morons *with burn photographs**may trigger*

I can't believe some C*NTS would find it funny at a festival to conceal a gas canister under my husband's fire so he and 3 other people would get a fireball in the face, his trousers set alight and burns on his knees.
I am so ****ing angry and useless (he came home started crying I had a panic attack).
He didn't tell me until I saw him this morning when I opened the front door and he just started crying. Then explained what happened I was so worried because of his face and not knowing what happened and he was just crying and I was crying. It was 1am this morning when it happened.
His mum knows a GP who is going to look at his wounds and re dress them for him so at least we are getting it sorted but his whole face is black and peeling and burnt and he has a blister on his cheek and his lip is badly burnt too.
God I am so ****ing angry right now.

They hadn't gone back to the camp since about 9am then they made up the fire about 1am.
Anyone could have done it.
As one of them walked back from the first aid tent he heard more bangs of canisters so people do it for 'laughs' to the fires noone knew who did it.

Oh no honey *big big hugs* I can't believe people would do something like that! I hope his burns get better soon and I'm thinking of you both.

(PS. Apparently Aloe Vera gel is very good for burns!)

Oh sweetie. *Huge cuddles for both you and your husband*

I'm so sorry that happened to him, people are such bloody, twatty idiots at times. I don't understand the humour in hurting people at all. I hope the hubby will be ok. xox

We are seeing our family friend who is a dr and then going shopping to get gauze and creams and stuff on his advice so I'll see what he says but thanks I might get aloe vera gel for when its healing more.

Awesome, yeah I just thought I would suggest it as when my granny burnt her wrist very badly (something with getting a roast out of the oven and some boiling fat spilt on her hand) it really helped her heal quickly :) So it might be similar in your husband's case.

we went to Leeds festival and had to stay in the car park till 4am when my mother arrived to pick us up.
at the start of the night we had 2 gas canisters left and we just called over a security guard and just gave them to him saying we did not feel safe having them near us and were not going to chuck them away because the idiots would get hold of them for their fires.
We counted at one point 13 big fires in our campsite, 4 of them really close and basically surrounding our tent, then they started shaking the poles with the lights on and they nearly brought it down right where our gazeebo was, thats when we packed up and left. On the way out we heard 2 calls over the radio for serious burns and found out atleast 3 girls had been raped.
Also I was with my sister it was her first festival and to top it off Monday (today) is her 21st birthday and she started it off by evacuating a burning campsite and having to camp out in a car park without any tents.
I hope your husband and his friends are ok, its shocking what people will do just because its a festival

Let me be the one you call
If you jump i'll break your fall
Lift you up and fly away with you into the night
If you need to fall apart
I can mend a broken heart
If you need to crash then crash and burn
YOU'RE NOT ALONE

I got a picture of his face for you too see
His face isn't dirty that is his skin which has burnt black/brown it will peel off his face like a chemical peel effect because of the burns.

I urge everyone who goes to festivals to CHECK and RE-CHECK your fires before lightin them and route through the old burnt wood/coal because people WILL sneak canisters in for 'laughs' and it IS NOT FUNNY

We saw the GP and his wife who is a nurse burst the blister on his face and the two on his knees and covered those but left the one on his face uncovered for air.
When it all scabs up we can start putting the aloe vera on it but she said it won't scar his face (not sure about his knees they said they will more likely scar)

His knees are worse then his face :(
its about 6inches over both knees that were just blisters which the nurse burst and now are covered but it looks so painful. :(

I didn't go to the festival it was andrew and his two friends (and a guy they didn't know) who got injured.
Andrew and the guy they didn't know were the most injured as they were sitting next to the fire when it exploded.

Well someone said they could see my husbands explosion about 20ft away like a mushroom cloud of red light.
When andrews friend how wasn't injured as much as him walked back from first aid he saw and heard about 4 more explosions so there were loads more after his.
Also Andrew said they saw people setting alight to bins and other stupidity.
