my friend wants to kill herself. i...i just haven't known what to say to her. she's in a pretty bad place right now with no job, no internet and impending homelessness, so she was talking to a mutual friend about just ending it all. we both got so ****ing stressed out and concerned. i tried talking to her but just like...i couldn't do it.

i managed to talk to her the other night when she was talking about suicide again, told her to let me know if theres anything i can do, etc, and there pretty much wasn't. anything the mutual friend suggested just got shot down too .__.;.

she's on her way to look at a new place to stay in, and she's got another place to look at on thursday, two developments since the really big 'i want to kill myself' conversation so that's improved her a little bit...but i'm still worried.

I think being there for her when she needs you is all you can do.

I think it is a good sign that she is looking at new places to live. You could support her and be really positive about it.

yeah. i think i was a bit hasty in making this thread actually. once she got news of places to live, she seemed to perk up almost straightaway and today there's been no ominous talk at all. she's out looking at another place right now as it happens :3.

so yeah, a bit hasty, but damn it, i just panicked >_<. thanks for your help though, mute! :)
