Children and Psychiatric Care

Hi everyone,

I work with children as a deputy manager of a children's nursery. Whilst I love what I do, I am starting to think about a career move into psychiatric care of children. The only problem I have is I don't know how to go about this and was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers? XX

What sort of thing are you thinking of?

I mean the most obvious would be working with CAMHS and without a social work or nursing degree you would be looking at support worker or care assistant role.

But you may be thinking of a specific field e.g. charity work?
