*wraps you up in soft blanket and rocks you*

Do you have any soothing music you could play to help you?

I understand how frustrating lack of sleep can be.

Either is fine. :]

Sorry to hear that.
I had it a bit when I started on mirtazapine, but that was more restlessness.

What about posting in first aid?

i get that sometimes, i dont eat a lot of salt and especailly around that time of month, i start to need salt. marmite on toast is a good cure.

i get it so bad that i get a spasmy/cramp where it pulls my calf towards my bum, underneath me sometimes, in sharp jolty movements, but it doesn't let go in between. i usually end up with a pulled muscle coz it goes so far then physically can't go anymore.

also keep that foot and leg inside the bedcovers, wear long socks if needs be, or it can come back. sleep with leg slightly bent so you dont push your muscle the wrong ways, erm... try massaging it?

so try
salt in your diet,
massage,
keeping it warm
getting it in a place where you're not straining the muscle straight or bent.

hope it helps rompy, mand x

ive had the calf muscle cramps really bad before. but its weird that yours came on so suddenly. i had some tests done years ago about it and i was low on potassium. so i took potassium tablets for a while and havent had any trouble since. i hope youre getting some sleep now.
much love.
xx

Try resting your legs on hot water bottles and wrapping them and the bottles up in a blanket relly tightly. Then try to relax, watch tv or listen to music. Also, if they hurt try taking ibuprfen, or rubbing an ibuprofen gell orto them. Or try a deep heat cream. Hope you feel better soon.

well i finally passed out.
but last night my ankle decided to join in (maybe it felt left out ;o)! ) again in the bath twice, tylenol, massage, propped up, rice bag just would not stop aching....
and to add to the fun i somehow have hurt my back, i think from the bath, leaning against the edge i dont know...this is ridiculous!!! Slept all day today as i had the last hotr bath at 5 AM so have done nothing all day....
went and bought muscle relaxants just a bit ago...*fingers crossed*
I'm meant to go for bloodwork...ummm...over a week ago now but havent made it. so i will try tomorrow (if i sleep) and then talk to doc on the 31st...maybe more tests...thanks for th eideas
