Numb

I usually SI because I feel too much emotion, now I feel like doing it because I feel so numb and tired. I want to know if I would feel anything =/ I'm trying to avoid it because I have a GP appointment in a week and if she gives me an examination (she doesn't know of my SI) and I have to take my cardigan off she'll see if I make a new cut ... :(

I am currently:

you could try other things besides hurting yourself to try and feel a bit more. maybe excercising (the endorphins are a plus too), or something good, like a bath....

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

PM me anytime, I love getting messages :)

Thanks for replying and the advice. I got through the night and then this morning ended up cutting because I couldn't calm down (so the opposite of what I was feeling last night). It's a vicious cycle =/

Maybe it would be helpful if you spoke to your GP about your self harming. She might be able to offer you some advice. Take care.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

You didn't come this far just to come this far.

Hey. Thanks for the reply. I don't know this GP so would feel too nervous and awkward telling her about my self-harm straight away. I am going to talk about my depression and mood swings though, which contribute to my self-harm, so I'm hoping I'll get some help with that and that'll help me with my SI ...

I've had both, too much emotion and numbness. neither are particularly nice. But yeah there are other ways to cope without si-ing. I'm sorry you did this morning but at least you got trough the night, that shows that you can.
