Question
I used to be really out of it. Depressed, suicidal, and I cut. I pulled myself out of that, and actually was able to be happy again. Why now then does it seem everyone is trying to push me down again, back into that state. I'm made fun of a lot, and its worse then last year. Only 2 of my teachers actually do something to stop it (my awesome french teacher and my awesome government teacher) They both are worried about me and my safety for the reasons I'm made fun of, being Bi and how I dress. Why is it though that I can't be happy? It seems no one wants me to be...

How does it feel, knowing your barely alive
See through bloodshot eyes, your left empty inside
There I was, strung out and drug through the mud
I must agree, you're just like me.
And when you die,I won't be at your wake
No eulogy from me,Just a smile on my face
And while God might be busy,With judging your soul
I will have slept with the girl, that you loved most!

People suck. If they're making fun of you because of that, it seems like it's just typical behavior where ppl will single out the ppl different frm them, the ppl who dont follow a specific idea of what normal is. Just be yourself. People who makes fun of you for being comfortable with who you are...screw them. They're not worth feeling bad over. The ppl who are worth it, will never makes you feel like that. They'll just accept you and care for you just as you are. Dont let ppl like that stop you frm being happy.

Try to remember that it really won't last forever. There is nothing wrong with you at all. You should be so proud of yourself for getting through everything you've been through. Don't lose that strength in yourself. If you feel like your safety is at risk, make sure you talk to your principal or vise principal about it, because you don't deserve to be hurt, especially for such a silly reason as being yourself. Always remember that everyone here wants you to be happy because you are a fantastic person, just the way you are, and you deserve it.

Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak. Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go. "But it's the truth even if it didn't happen."

i agree with the two comments above. Also, think that you've got two teachers on your side. If you feel comfortable with them maybe speak to one or the other and say that you would like to take this bullying further. There is zero tolerence on bullying these days and that's what these small minded people are doing. keep you head held high my dear!
