My one year anniversary of living on my own , How to mark it:)

Well the title says it all, I've lived on my own after having moved out of my parents exactly 1 earth year ago today. I want to mark it in some way , the flat is still not really decourated so I was thinking I could buy a poster to make it feel more "mine" But any ideas are welcome :) I have a quite limited budget though , photo's on my fridge have been suggested which is a good idea but I am still collecting Ideas

What about baking a cake or having a special meal to mark the year!

If your looking for a decoration could you make a photo collage of what you've done over the last year!

Posters and photos on the fridge are a good idea. Make some of your own drawings and paintings and hang them up too. Are you a plant person? Get some plants? How about some throw cushions or a blanket? Have a house warming party and people might bring you stuff?

but there are loads of free sites with tips.

if you and your parents are still on good terms maybe invite them round for a home cooked meal. parents really like that their child is cooking for them.. plus you can get them to bring the wine!!! haha. :)
