I am currently:
im so friggin medicated

what the title says, and im fed up with it.
i feel like im on too much meds all at once atm.
im on sertraline in the morning, aripiprazole at lunch, mertazipine before bed as well as zopiclone. and i take diazepam prn.
it seems like alot,
but sometimes i wonder if ide go back to the state i was at in summer if i was to come off any pills.
it just feels excessive, ive already had to down my dosage of aripiprazole due to side effects.
i worry what all these pills are doing to my body.

does it seem like im on alot?
how should i go about telling my cpn or psychiatrist that im not happy??

on a different note i need to know if you can take some meds when pregnant as in the future we want to try for a baby when i get weller, and i dont really want to be on all the meds then.

le sigh.

4 o'clock, 4 o'clock...
never let me sleep.
i close my eyes and pray!

This is exactly why I went of meds and tried a more naturaul approach at things. A gym, candle burning, belly dance, pilates, yoga, and vegetarian kind of approach, instead of a prozach approach

im glad im not alone in thinking this.
i would love to take an alternative approach but i know just comeing off my meds cold turkey would be a bad idea.

Taking many meds during pregnancy is dangerous to the baby. Most doctors prefer people to be off psych meds during pregnancy

But be careful with wanting to come off the meds

I'm on two antipsychotics. Every time I try to even reduce the dose of one of them by a little, my symptoms get much worse. You may be on a lot of meds now, but don't rush coming off them. Follow doctor's advice

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I guess it might feel excessive if you feel no real need to be on so many meds, and if it's getting to you and making you unhappy then I'd think it's be worth talking to your psych about.
They have a duty of care and I think psych's generally want to work with you to get you better. So if you're not happy with something they should help you with it.
You could just starting off by saying you're not really happy being on so many meds, getting straight to the point might be useful, that way they can give their opinion and maybe suggest a course of action.
Also they can oversee you reducing meds and make sure it's done slowly and safely.
When I felt I was on too many meds I told my psych I felt I didn't need them. He made a valid point that it might in fact be my meds that are making me feel better but agreed to reduce my doses and help me totally come off the ones I didn't want. It worked really well for me, I'm on two anti-depressants now (mirtazapine & duloxetine) and it doesn't feel too excessive.
When do you see your psych next?

Your right I worked my way off meds. going off abruptly is a big nono, def wean off it at a steady pace, thats what I did. :)

I was also self concious the theripst told me to never change any thing about myself. I had a larger nose with a bump on the bridge, crooked teeth, no freinds, no boyfreind. The pshchiatrist swore that his meds would lift me up out of depression, and make that stuff stop bothering me. But those capsules filled with toxic pixie dust, did nothing for me. What helped me was a nose job, braces, getting freinds and getting a dates. Thats what helped me.
