What were peoples experiences on this? i have been given this and i have found myself sleeping A LOT and feeling pretty out of it, i was wandering if people expeirenced this and then it went away or if it stayed with them?
Thanks

I felt like that at first but it passed for me.
I've found it useful.

See I cannot feel this, not matter how you try and in the real world, there's no goodbyes.
Stare at the hands, you know you want to ;).

Lots of sleep, but that's what I need. It's really helpful for me, probably the best thing I've been on so far. Forst week you're a bit like a zombie, but then it settles down.
There's a couple of threads on this already that might give you some more perspectives if you don't get loads on this one xxx

I've been on mirtazapine for a little over a year now. I started off on 15mg I think, which has been increased steadily over time to 45 mg. At first on the 15mg I found I slept a lot. But over time I found it easier to cope with, I'd find myself waking up about 20 mins earlier each day which over time meant I went back to more normal sleeping habits. I sleep for about 8-9 hours a night now which I don't feel is excessive.
I did find that my thoughts would race a bit too after I took it (before bed) this meant I'd have quite vivid dreams. Although I've always had pretty vivid dreams so it might have just been that. Apart from that I've had no side effects from it.
I find it really effective, I hope you get on well with it too :)

ive been on this for a few months.
they gave me it to help me sleep at night.
so have you tried taking it at night?
maybe youd feel less zonked out during the day?
i dont know, you might be already taking it at night.
but the effects do ware off with time.
