Hey there, try not to feel alone and so lost.
Step back and look at this situation. I myself am addicted to Codeine, which is the antagonist for your addiction, Co-Codamol comes in varying strengths and is a mix between Codeine and Paracetamol. Codeine is a mild - medium strength Opiate painkiller, and is easy to get addicted to. Do you find it makes you feel better? Is that why you started, or did you just accidentally take too many and found it hard to stop?
Many people are in this position, there is an entire forum devoted to it, now I'm unsure of your age and signing up to that forum is age dependant, and you have to be 18. But you can still have a look at it's information, it's
http://www.codeinefree.me.uk.
There's one thing that's the most important thing first off, and that's the Paracetamol levels you will be intaking, Co-Codamol has 500mg standard of Paracetamol, more than 1000mg of Paracetamol, or two tablets, at a time is dangerous and can do damage to your stomach even in the short term, a lot of people over at CodeineFree who have been addicted to the combination pills with Paracetamol or Ibuprofen (or both), have been left with Ulcers, Severe Stomach and bowel issues, and a few have even ended up in hospital with Liver problems, and nearly died. I'm not trying to scare you or sound judgemental, I'm doing this for your own good. Try to tone down, even if only a few tablets, just to try and reduce the Paracetamol damage.
Try to tell someone, like a parent, friend, adult etc. that you trust and you think would understand, or even your GP or other health proffesional, they can help you, and maybe ween you off of them with some temporary Pure Codeine Tablets, that way you won't have the Paracetamol problems, and you will be able to come off of the Codeine slowly and less painfully.
Just don't beat yourself up or worry too much, it's not good but it can be dealt with. I hope I can help you more, so if you want to you can always PM me.
Good luck, JKT667.
