*gives Harley cake*
You're wonderful, i think you're stuck with most of us for the forseable future.
Erin, i love you're letter idea!
What are your reasons for wanting to quit cam? (at least the reasons you'd tell your boss!)
The world is an interesting place when everyone you know has their own realities
Well my boss knows i am leaving I dont have a new job and I got pissed off so posted this but I just need a nice letter to give him!
As much as I would give him:
Dear Dad
I hate your guts and can't stand working for you for another second you pig headed, monkey brained, biscuit faced hooleywooley.
Camilla
or
Dear Dad
It has come to my attention you are all c**ts and i therefor wish no longer to suffer under your tyranny.
I hope you all die in a fire.
Screw you
Camilla
I think i might be out of my job and out of a home/ in a psychiatrist chair before i could say boo to a goose!!!
I would love to see his face first though!
Oh and reasons for this post are in my R & V post to!

When I left my first teaching job I wrote a letter of resignation. That was 11 years ago. So my memory is kind of vague.
Just keep it simple, say that you wish to terminate employment with the company, and that you are giving x amount of notice as stated in the contract. All it is is an official document. Save any personal thanks etc for the card you give 'em when you leave.
Location: London . . . the less awesome one in Ontario, Canada
Just follow proper business letter formatting and tell them that you will be leaving the company/ job as of a certain date. You don't need to give a reason, unless you *want* to. If you really liked the job and hope to use them as a reference, include some mention of how the job has helped you, what new skills they've taught you, etc. If you're quitting because you hate them and the job, skip that part, thank them for the valuable experience and wish them well in the future. Sign, seal, deliver.
could just stop turning up to work haha - i know a lpot of people who've done that lol! id like to offer my own advice but i gave my reg letter in and never left so im not great at them heehee
ooooo resignation letters scare me and I dont know y. I have never really had to write one though cos I usually just say yeah im not coming back after a certain date and they just let me go lol although I dont think that will wash with tescos
I would like to inform you that this letter confirms my resignation from the company. I will work any period of notice reqruired and, in lieu of notice, I recognise my right to have pay deducted.
or something
Nobody knows, nobody cares that I die on the inside
Nobody sees the lie that is me, as I smile on the outside
