Searching new posts
When i search new posts it often comes up as generated 6 minutes ago (or some other time long before i searched).
I was just wondering if there is a reason for this or if i'm doing something odd.

There are caching systems of the search to prevent the massive load on the server searching causes (most sites with search do this) - although they shouldnt be that long, or applied to new post searching
I will look into it.
Thanks

Er no Harls - caching for a long time is good. Our DB will regenerate the search results if related data has changed in the database - the quearycache in SQL is stepping in here.
Are your findings different, and what have you changed? If there were new posts, they'd be returned - if not the last cached search results are provided - it doesn't matter how old these are, as long as they aren't stale.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

Btw, this is what i meant. I'm guessing it's meant to happen like that though.
