Also aint this pretty dangerous to the body to fast it for a month I know you can have specific hours when you can eat but isn't it still dangerous and can you get ill from it?

Pretty sure they can eat when the sun goes down? I think, I'm not sure, and no I don't think it means fluids, or it means you can't drink anything other than water
Just what I can remember from and old youth worker I used to know, although I could be wrong
I dont believe its unhealthy to do if you are a generally well person. But for anyone whos unwell I cant imagine it would do any good, though I dont know if it would harm them *shrugs*
Must screw up your body clock a bit, reminds me of when my dad did night shifts and ate at night and slept in the day, he developed IBS around that time, so it probably didnt help.
you can drink water. You do eat during Ramadan just not when the sun is up.
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

Isoverity is correct, it's usually a big feast at sundown. So in terms of health, the daily calorie intake and whatnot isn't far off what it should be.
Kids don't have to fast, although some teenagers choose to do so, hence people knowing people who fasted in highschool etc.
The fluid/water thing depends on how people interpret the scripture I think, although the majority of Muslims will allow water during the day (I'm not 100% sure on that, but a lot of Muslim countries are roasting hot during the day, so going without water would be very difficult).
As stated, pregnant women & other at-risk people are 'exempt' from fasting. So yeah, it's not particularly unhealthy, as long as people use their common sense...

Fluids ain't allowed in the fast.
Because of the hot weather this year a lot of poeple who might be 'harmed' by fasting have the permission not to fast, it includes the sick, those who work for long hours under the sun, poeple who are travelling from one country to another, women who are breastfeeding or pregnaunt...
But the fast has to be done when the person is capable of doing it. But for those who can't do it in Ramadan or any other day like someone with a chornic disease are allowed not to do it all together.

Also it is recommended to eat before the sun rise & to drink fluids too, this meal is called Sohor. So yea the calorie intake for a person fasting in Ramadan or a person who isn't fasting is almost the same.

Ramadan is through the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and lasts about 30 days, but varies according to the moon. So this year it started today, but next year it will start at the beginning of August, I think.
Aren't women who are on their periods exempt from fast while they are bleeding? I had a girl in my form in college who told me that I think.
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
I thought the massive feast was at the end of Ramadan...Eid El Fitr?
When is Ramadan?
Eid al Fiter comes after Ramadan immidietly and it's called al Fiter cuz poeple don't fast afterwards. It's the end of Ramadan. Fiter = in arabic means the first meal of the day, like breakfast. In ramadan the 'huge meal' at sun set is called fiter cuz it's the first main meal of the day.
At the sun set there is a huge meal, it usually includes so many salads and soups, and dates is something we often have when we break our fast too, and of course the main dish.
In Eid al Fiter poeple do yummy cookies and have a lot of chocolates/ fruits/ nuts/ juices to serve the guests when they come around, cuz the Eid is about people visiting each other.

If I remember my school religious education the fasting is only during the day, you can eat all you like during the night hours.
So in a sense it's kind of like swapping your meal rota around, eating three meals a night rather than three during the day.
I heard stories about people who've actually gained weight during ramadan because they ate more at night than they usually do during daylight hours.
