Triggering (ED) - advice on dietician appt plse?

im seeing a dietician on thursday and i just wondered wat she might be likely to ask/say. I saw one when i was in ip but never as an outpatient. I mean is she likely to ask things like wat do i eat on an average day, will she wanna weigh me, will she give me meal plans - type thing. I'm notworried about seeing her as such, just worried as im not sure sure wat to expect. is it much different from ip?

I saw one when I was a kiddie. Yes they do weigh you. Give you diet plans and all as well and ask you what you eat usually and suggest things. They aren't there to have a go at you the therapists are there for that. Don't worry! He/she'll be fine!

not good.broke down and told her everything and she told me my bmi was 14.6 and sent me straight off for blood tests an ECG and to see the dr. Shes contacting my consultant straight away and she was shocked tht this was the first follow up appt tht id had since leaving the unit 6 wks ago. typical health trust tbh and well, i'm past caring now. I dont want their help anymore.

It sounds like it was really stressful for you *hugs* It's good that you managed to tell her everything though, it doesn't really help to keep it all inside. Why is it that you don't want their help? Do you know what it is that you do want? Stay safe. xxx

*squishes dani hard and kisses* hun. you are sooo worth it though don't you see it? you r special and you SHOULD care because WE care. I'm sure Lawrence would support you if you told him how u were feeling. Don't you want the support? I'm sure you could do with it because it's all well coming on here to get the support and advice but we can't be there 24/7 and at the times when you are hurting real bad.
