i use a nikon d90. It was second hand present. I couldnt afford it myself.
But if you want a decent starting out camera kit i could recommend a nikon d40 or d50 with a 35mm 1.8 lens. You could get that for maybe £200 if you shop around and it is actually really good if you know how to use, I had that up to a month ago. My 20th bday has just been.
