Art Therapy

  1. What is Art Therapy?
  2. How do you get to have Art Therapy?
  3. Has anyone else experienced it? What's it like?

Art therapy is using art as a way to express things; feelings, thoughts, memories, in a creative way, drawing, painting, sculpture etc.
We find it very helpful..

I had art therapy when I was younger, I painted whilst I talked to my psychologist & painted my feelings & thoughts out etc, it was very relaxing & it helped a lot to be in that kind of environment, personally & plus I didn't have to be looking at my psychologist, I was focusing on my painting, so that was a lot better for me. =)

You can probably ask your doctor about it & see if it can be arranged with a psychologist, or if you're already seeing a professional, you could discuss it with them & try to arrange it?

It's a good form of therapy in my opinion.
