Triggering (SI) - any advice/experience with this?
I need some advice...
I'm doing sports coachin at college and we need to specialise in 2 sports which we participate in at a high level im doing netball and judo.
Quite a few people in the class are swimmers. I usually only cut my legs so there in a bit of a state and even if by some miracle i stopped i still wouldnt be able to wear a swimmin costume :/
any ideas what i can do to get out of this
i cant wear a full body suit thingy cause id get more questions that way.
and as its a sports class i couldnt get away with sarongs or anything of that nature.
also should i ask my phsych (sp) or doctor to write me a note or something would they do this or me ??
sorry for the length but im freakin out
xx

If its on your upper legs that you need to hide like mine are (above the knee) you could maybe try swim trunks and a top... That way it looks like you wore it on purpose, not to hide.

I dont really have much advise, but im a swimmer and cut mostly my legs too, but i cut in between my legs if you know what i mean so no one really noticed. When you are in the water no one can see anything, maybe wrap a towel around your legs while your out of the water? When i swim no one can see when you are in the water swimming. Sorry not sure this was particularly helpful. Hope it al works out. *hugs* xxx

Have you ever looked fear in the face and said "I just don't care"?

Asking your psych for a note sounds like a good idea. :] Prehaps they could give you an idea of what to do.
