this is just unrelenting....
so it turns out that when you have your period heavy and unmanageable, mostly interrupted for months on end, you get kind of tired of it and want it to go away. so, hopefully this one won't get too heavy and will go away after a week, like they're supposed to. i kinda want this to go away. i mean, new sexual partner (not too fun when i'm gushing blood 24-7)....and i'm all sore down there because i'm constantly wet and when you're bleeding this heavy it's hard to manage the situation. yeah. this could go away anytime now and i wouldn't mind it.

I'm sorry you're suffering this much from your periods. Is there anything doctors can do to make it go away? I'm sure you tried it, but does the pill help? Is there something wrong with your uterus?
I wish you a lot of strength. Big hug.

thanks lynx. my doctor's working with me on it, but unfortunately there's not a magic pill to make it go away. we tried progestrone, that just temporarily stopped it and then made it come back so bad that i was fainting from loss of blood. i'm on the pill now, and it's been mostly good, but i accidentally skipped a day and so it's coming back. i'm hoping i didn't mess it up too bad. for the most part the bleeding's been really tame but it's kind of heavy today. mostly i just want it to go away cause i'm tired of dealing with it. but what can you do? can't have everything. i feel better after i vent on here, usually.

That does not sound like fun :( I don't think there's much I can say to help, but stick with your doctor, at least they're trying to do what they can to fix it. I can imagine that it sucks so bad, and I know you just want it to go away. If it keeps up heavy, it might be an idea to go back and speak to your doctor again.
Maybe also set an alarm on your phone to remind you to take your pill everyday so you don't accidentally skip it again.
I hope you get it cleared up soon
