Let's break a record

Ok, I just checked. Apparently the most users online ever in the history of RYL was: 883 on 02-07-2008.

Well I think it's about time to change that. I think we should crack that record.

I invite you all to come online and log into RYL on Saturday 26th June at 10pm - 11pm GMT. If we all log on during that hour, even for a minute we can crack that record.

Spread the word, I know a few members go to other areas of RYL and rarely come into general chat. If we can let as many people know as possible by that date I'm confident we can do it.

Now to those members who're not in the UK I took the liberty of doing a few time conversions for you.

* In Australia (based on Sydney time zone) 26 June @ 10pm GMT will be: 08:00:00 Sunday June 27, 2010
* In America (based on New York time zome) 26 June @ 10pm GMT will be: 18:00:00 Saturday June 26, 2010
* In America (based on Chicago time zone) 26 June @ 10pm GMT will be: 17:00:00 Saturday June 26, 2010
* In New Zealand 26 June @ 10pm GMT will be: 10:00:00 Sunday June 27, 2010

Come on people! I think we can do this!

I think it was tried, back in 2008. it broke the previous record. I don't know when that was though.

ok you say for us all to come on at 10pm yet the time conversion says 9pm!! which one is it? 10pm or 9pm - im gettn wee bit confused. need to get to sleep

My mistake. I meant 10. the time conversions have been for 10 but for some reason i wrote 9. I'll fix that.

Best thing to do if you have a calendar or reminder feature on your phone or computer is to set yourself a reminder for that time now!
